As DBC has pointed out here, the radio station 3C on LCN 724 has been replaced by Clyde 1.

Here's a UK Timers logo for it (60x38):

And here's the ibl version.

I've done some tweaking and tidying up to the logos I have at www.andrec.org.uk. In particular, I have added ibl versions where previously there weren't any, and I have rejigged some of the ibls to be a little less blocky (not that you're likely to notice at the size they appear). I have also replaced the BBC One logo, and I have added one for Heart Radio, which I didn't have on my Toppy (though that's probably because I haven't downloaded a recent logos.dat :shock:).

Please shout if anything doesn't work as it should!

Andre
Good work. Can I just ask you to include in your descriptions that .ibl logos (ImproBox Logo) are used by Improbox, Filer2 and lately the excellent 3PG tap (slowly being customised for the UK Toppy). (Also Quicktimer .qtl which doesn't seem to have a cult following in the UK)

There seemed to be some slight doubt back on 19 Feb, when CW said:

That's why I fudged it by referring to "the UK Timers family of TAPs" and "for the Filer2 TAP, amongst others."

If I was sure exactly which TAPs needed each type, I'd put a full list - though I expect anyone visiting the page to download a logo will be enough of a nerd to know what they want and why 8).

In any case, this all started because I wanted logos for the TAPs I use, and I use UK Timers and Filer2. Anyone is welcome to whatever works for them. Think of it as a sort of homage to the MyStuff approach ...

@Andre, Calm down dear!
I use Improbox, Filer2 and 3PG and they all use the same .ibl logo files! It is useful and informative for all "non-nerds" to appreciate that these TAPs all use the same logo files (from the same directory) rather than hunt for different ones and get confused. A good example is 3PG which, upon first start, does NOT load the logos by default. However, when the appropriate option is set to "display logos", does indeed pick the correct improbox logos.

Your logos are appreciated by those of us who don't want to tinker with .gifs, .bmps, paint, iblview, ... 8)

Thomas Cook TV has now started on LCN 41 (deep joy ... ).

Here's a UK Timers logo for it (60x38):

And here's the ibl version.

Both are working on my Toppy, though I arrive at the filenames by trial and error. It seems to be the case that ibl filenames are always all lower case with no spaces, and UK Timers filenames are (usually - often - always?) the name of the station as it appears in the channel list, including spaces. Does anyone know a definitive spec. for the filenames?

Does anyone know whether or not "transparent" logos are relevant to the Improbox UK logos. TAPs using .ibl logos seem to have the option for transparent logos.

you make an .ibl logo transparent by using RGB 0,0,0. Therefore they can be designed transparent or not. When I maintained the Improbox logos I deliberately made then all non-transparent but if someone wants to design a transparent set it should be quite easy,
