Thanks for that info, it shows the importance of starting PruneEPG automatically when the toppy boots and also indicates that one can have about 60 configured channels (on a TF5800).
Your signature indicates that you are not using several patches normally loaded by MyStuff users (not surprising, as you don't use MS). However, one of these patches is [Ef].TF5800, IA On, TS On, F/W: 5.13.65T 14/4/2009 -AbCkEeEfEpHeKtRaRhRsSdStSyTeTfTpTsVr+Pf
As a non MyStuff user, the number of entries can be expected to grow over time as the events for a forth coming day are broadcast; this will be compounded the longer the toppy is left on (your post implies it stays on for several days). Note: the situation would not be as bad for a MS user running in a similar manner as EPG2MEI would delete "old" entries freeing up space in the eit table.R2-D2's page wrote:The EIT Dup Fix [Ef] patch fixes bugs in the Toppy's EIT data collection add and delete routines, preventing duplicate entries clogging up the space and causing other errors. To reduce problems from CRC errors, the EIT CRC Fix [Ec] patch should also be applied. ...)
You might also want to look at http://forum.toppy.org.uk/forum/viewtop ... 460#139460. (this explains why one might get duplicate entries in the epg)
So, for best running, I suggest you
1) Install R2-D2's [Ef] patch (and any other eit patches that may be relevant)
2) Set the box to shutdown over night (I'm not quite sure what tap you would use to achieve this) or at least make a point of restarting it frequently
