CBS Drsma will be moving from LCN74 to 71 on Thursday 28th April, 1pm, but because it will also be changing to an HD mux, will no longer be available to the Toppy.

Anyone got any info about the rumor that the BBC is looking to add more local radio stations to freeview. There could be 40 or so of them.

It looks like they could occupy up to 5 LCN's on any given transmitter. The BBC currently have 4 LCN's available to use on a transmitter.

Not sure what they will do to get a 5th LCN but this change has the potential to upset the logo packs for MyStuff.

There's a multi-page discussion here. As yet no LCNs have been allocated but the five are 7, 719-722.

Thanks for the link Bizman. I can't see them using LCN 7 for local radio or is that why London Live is on LCN 8.

Yes, my mistake, I am confusing local radio with local TV on 7. The reason London Live is on 8 is buried somewhere in the 8 pages of nearly 200 posts in the link I gave.

Community LCN 63 now back on COM6 and for shopping enthusiasts QVC+1 has moved to LCN36 also on COM6

Additional:
If your transmitter is The Wrekin, Bromsgrove, Lark Stoke (or their relays) you may need a retune on 1st June.

If your transmitter is Gib Heath / Norfolk House relay in Birmingham you should note that there will be an outage on the 7th June as the transmitter is moved to a nearby tower block.

Some of you may want to watch/record the Olympics and in addition to LCN600-603 the BBC have secured space on COM8 which will house additional streams from 5th August - 21st August 2016.
[Note you cannot record COM8 on the Toppy]

Following on from my previous post the extra Olympics streams now have been added:

Ch 602 BBC RB 2 removed from PSB3/BBCB
Ch 603 BBC RB 3 removed from PSB3/BBCB
Ch 114 BBC Olympics HD added to COM8
Ch 602 BBC RB 2 added to COM8
Ch 603 BBC RB 3 added to COM8
Ch 604 BBC RB 4 added to COM8
Ch 605 BBC RB 5 added to COM8
Ch 606 BBC RB 6 added to COM8
Ch 607 BBC RB 7 added to COM8
Ch 608 BBC RB 1 24/7 added to COM8

none of which affects the Toppy, but there may be the odd interested viewer.
LCN600 will be available to Toppy users on PSB1

After retuning your equipment for the Olympics, we have LCN731 & 732 moving mux on the 2nd from COM5 (I've no idea where to yet) and on the 3rd Vintage TV moves from LCN86 to 82 (not that you can get it on the Toppy. :( )

[Edit:] 731 & 732 are now on COM6. Also Dave ja Vue has moved from 84 to 79.
