No point retuning until and unless a new channel you would like to watch is launched or an existing channel you like to watch moves MUX.

The effect of the changes were not that bad. It's all the duplicates created to remind people to retune that complicates things on the Toppy.

All I had to do in my logo packs was add the extra bookends for the Adult Section (LCNs 695-699).

I've gone through my freeview.dat file and it seems to be clean. But that was after I'd removed all the duplicated LCNs on my toppy. Took a while though.

I got some dups too, but strangely the News channels are still left where they originally were. Channel 231 to 234 did not show up in the list after the rescan. All news channels were duplicated with one of each duplicates showing "The news channels have moved to 231-149" in the native topfield info, but with a black screen. I deleted these for now, but I'm wondering if I will have to rescan soon?

PS. I've always removed channels manually after a re-tune over the years. Is it worth adding the Channel Organiser tap this late in the day, or will I just be slowing down the boot up of my Toppy?

PPS. On a different freeview set top box all the news channels appear correctly not on 130-135, but on the advertised 231-234. Why isn't toppy tuning into these new channels?

EDIT: I had forgotten to do a Factory Reset ... after which all channels showed up on the list and I could delete the surplus.

Does anyone have an updated Freeview.Dat file that they'd be willing to share? I used TopManager to do the rescan, and deleted the duplicate channels, but then MyStuff crashed and it took me ages to realise that the file locations for the .Dat files were dodgy and to create some duplicates. We're off on holiday soon, so I won't have time to do it till afterwards.
