I finally managed to get someone out to fix our aerial problems. There were several so it was certainly non-trivial (and non-cheap!) It meant I was able to get every channel I was expecting, including all the channels associated with Channel 5.

Then I found I was getting no EPG data for 5Select. I spent ages trying to remember what files I needed to investigate to see why it wasn't scanning. And when I did find them, they all looked fine. I tried a rescan using TM and it disappeared all together, although I could still see it on my YouView box. I guess it must have moved to one of the HD MUXes so the Toppy can no longer see it. Do we know if any other channels will be disappearing?

As you guessed, 5Select has moved to HD https://www.freeview.co.uk/help/service ... 65-closure

I've no idea when channels are changing - I just change the Freeview.dat files when my TV tells me that the channel line up has changed.
I believe there is at least one web sites that informs about impending changes but I can't remember what it is.

According to the Digital Spy thread I mentioned above, 5Select moved from COM4 to PSB3 (BBC-B) on 1 July 2021.
As I don't watch it, I cannot confirm that.

It can depend on the transmitter, there's usually quite a few differences between up here and south of the border. I'd imagine there's regional differences as well

I must admit that I seldom (?never) watched it, so the only way I realised was when the MS EPG display disappeared for it as I did my regular look through the EPG for interesting programmes.
