Googling the site for "SRP 2410 site:toppy.org.uk" only produces two ancient posts by a single person (strangely, it doesn't detect your post!). i.e. you are extremely unlikely to get any replies other than this one.

I don't think it was marketed in the UK (seems they had it in Germany).

Assuming you have one that no longer works, you could talk to andyfras to see if he could fix it.

Cheers
Geoff

Topfield SRP2410 Satellite Receiver Wanted

Post by Zenigma »

Thanks for replies so far (Geoff & Jimi) re Topfield SRP-2410 Satellite Receiver. I have had a Topfield TF5010PVR Masterpiece for many years now, bought new in 2006. It is a marvellous machine and deserves its name due to its unique functions and facilities. But of course it is only Standard Definition, created before the High Definition age. That is why I am looking for an HD machine which has similar features to the TF5010, which I believe the SRP-2410 has. But please correct me if I am wrong.

I am aware that the SRP-2410 was not generally available in the UK, which is why I am asking the question; how canI get one? I was hoping that some had been imported, but have never seen any mention of them anywhere in the UK media. Failing this, is there an alternative, with similar versatility? Does anyone have experience of the Topfield TF7710 PVR as a suitable alternative?
