TF 6400

Post by Andy K »

Hi. I'm in the uk. If I were to purchase one of these, would I be able to record free to air channels ?

Are they any good? (like my 5800)

Would I need both LNB things connected? or does it work nicely with only one?

And if I moved the dish I could record German RTL ? F1l

Thank you.

It will record free-to-air channels, but there would probably be no EPG beyond Now & Next as it's not signed up to Freesat.

I don't know the model, but it seems to date from 2009, so will almost certainly suffer from PSU capacitor issues, like other Toppies.

It would need both LNBs connected if you want to watch/record 2 channels simultaneously.

You would probably need a viewing card to view F1 from RTL.
Toppy PSU repair service or capacitor kits for DIY available - PM me for details.
