Site reverted to http

Post by Geoff Bacon »

Hi Nigel,

I started up my W10 pc this morning and find that the site is effectively unusable.

Using the Edge browser, I see that https: in the address bar is struck out in red (it is the same in chrome).
Each access to a site page results in a "Connection is not private" screen which also displays "This server could not prove that it is forum.toppy.org.uk;"
This can only be bypassed by using an "advanced" button.

Many thanks for running the site.

Firefox says that the "certificate" expired today. Not sure what that means, but it may help someone sort it.
Regrettably now toppyless. 2/4/2018

Sorry about that; there's an automated job that's supposed to renew these in plenty of time, but it must have failed for some reason last time, and hence didn't get done until this morning's run.
