Thanks for confirming that it worked ok (always nice to know that it works on something other than the development machine). I don't check for updates to the logo packs (gramps has just asked me the same question); I just check Freeview, FvTxData ( you will be informed if changed) and a couple of ot...

Sounds like you have lost the channels and the toppy is locking you into the system menus before it will let you proceed i.e. you need to scan for channels. You may also have a corrupt file system; try connecting via Antares to see if you still have recordings on the disk. If the recordings look ok,...

@jimi Yes, you can upgrade now (just use the download page on the visible GeeCeeBee site) @yj You are right, it was a lot of work - I thought I'd use the lockdown to sort it out as Google has been trying to close off the Classic method for about 18 months (but kept extending the deadline - now somet...

TopManager 7.0 Google is forcing web site owners to convert their sites to "New Google Sites" (NGS); the GeeCeeBee web site is using what is now called "Classic Google Sites". One of the main changes is that file attachments cannot be used in NGS; they have to be stored/accessed...

Option 2 doesn't provide the patches so the directories won't exist unless they were already on the disk (and I think you say you reformatted it. Suggest you rerun the installer and choose option 1. It will only add the missing files to the toppy (any that already match the kit i.e. most of them wil...

You should have that folder on the toppy.

Did you use the current GCBMyStuffInstaller ?
Did you choose option 1 and say yes to everything
Do you still have the log files that it created? (one is designed for pasting on the forum)

Download R2-D2's Dark Side of the Matrix PatchPack2 and unzip it. Copy the UsbAcceleratorPatch_01.tfp and the [Uu] USBUpload.tfp patches to the toppy (store in \ProgramFiles\InstallerFirmware\Add) Using the remote, press < (between << and >>) Press Archive (to get Native Archive) << Display ProgramF...

Thanks for the mention but most of the work was done by others finding out how the Toppy works. My involvement has primarily been repackaging/improving this to make it a bit easier to use (I've also enjoyed the puzzles coding it)

I explained previously that all Start and End times had been set to 0000 (i.e. no restrictions is now the norm)

I'm not seeing any error on my system (but then I am tweaking TM so aren't using the same version. @fhjones - did it give an indication of which line was an issue? (possible caused when you cut and pasted the file). If you rescan (use CO?), this file would be rewritten and I would expect the error t...

The ones dated 28/1/20 are those that are affected and will cause issues for anyone rescanning with TM (obviously no issue if you don't rescan!)

@fhjones

My apologies - it turns out your lack of a MS EPG was due to the changes I recently made to Freeview.dat (the perils of making changes!).

You will need to load the latest version of Freeview.dat if you want to use TM to do channel scans.

Cheers

fhjones found that his toppy was displaying the native EPG rather than the MyStuff one. After much effort and reformatting on his part, it turned out that EPG2MEI.ini had [Excludes] for each scanned channel. (Extend.ini probably also has these excludes as it uses the same processing code). Investiga...

@ccs

CO shouldn't change the content of the your .ini file now (although the date may change). This is because the latest I've removed all the broadcast times from the latest Freeview.dat.
As you are used to stopping CO early, I suggest you just carry on doing so.
