There's no alternative to parental supervision. Get them in front of the piano or the chess board. Failing that, they might enjoy playing in the muck out in the garden.

I have noticed this problem from time to time but hadn't investigated. At the risk of trivialising your problem - although it doesn't look as pretty the screensaver function still serves its purpose and I haven't noticed any other obviously related ill-effects.

I forget all the lingo but if you are watching live and pause or rewind then try to Power Off then the Internal PowerOff function will display the DELAYED POWER OFF message infinitely, as you will always be in the timeshift buffer.

But the Toppy IS rather techie. In its native state its barely fit for purpose. I had always assumed it was bought by geeks BECAUSE of its high customability - not in spite of.
