All the time!

I still use mine all the time. I've got a reserve one in case it dies. I run UKtimers, so I rarely have to programme it, and have it networked, so I can extract programmes. It's ideal, and I dread the day it ceases to be viable... It is also very reliable, thanks to the patches from here. :) It's a ...

I'm using my Toppy with a Panasonic Viera TX-L37G10, with no issues beyond those expected from watching SD TV on a HD LCD panel.

Nearly the same.

Correct. Torchwood is the more "adult" part for the franchise. The main Dr Who and Sarah Jane are the child friendly parts.

Probably no MHEG either, so no interactive red-button or text. No mention of freesat either, so probably only now/next rather than full EPG.

[AOL]Me too![/AOL] And it came from John Lewis.

It is very nice, but shows the resolution limits of Freeview rather more clearly than the ancient and deceased CRT that it replaced.

Is it beyond the wit of man to synchronise these things?

Simpler than RF out, if you have the correct lead, might be to use the AV3 front panel terminals and a SCART to RCA/phono lead (something like http://www.cdlmicro.co.uk/html/show_product.php/pid/699 ).

I think that the composite video signal is always the same, with no configuration possible.

Buggeration!

I thought I had this down pat. Saved timers in UK timers, factory reset, rescan, reboot, reload timers. What happens? All Wednesday's timers recorded from the old muxes! I got 4 programmes with the correct filenames and durations, but the wrong content. By sheer luck this happens to mean I actually ...

In combination with first using the FastScanGUI TAP to limit the search to only the frequencies used by your local transmitter. Makes the channel rescan faster and eliminates the chance of picking up duplicate rogue channels from a neighbouring transmitter. Although I think the channel numbers will...

Hi R2, This isn't pre/post DSO. We don't change until 2012. It's some sort of preparatory change which includes losing analogue CH5 too. http://www.freeview.co.uk/freeview/Resolutions/About-Freeview-availability/Coverage-issues/Digital-UK-announces-changes-affecting-viewers-in-the-Meridian-TV-region...

Does the tap store the frequency lists within itself?

If so we're going to need an update as on 23rd March Rowridge is having a shuffle:

current: 23/26/28/30/32/33
new: 28/30/32/33/34/37 (numerical order)

Thanks!
