Two Toppies still in daily use for both watching and recording. A spare in the loft.

Thanks Geoff. Very timely as I've spent time today getting ITV3 to work again. Despite having done so successfully (eventually!) I just installed your new FvTxData.tsv and freeview.dat files and then used channel organiser to run a scan on Crystal Palace in case there were any wrinkles I'd missed. C...

Re: Vaguely interesting response to a power glitch?

So although it is not impossible that there will be updates (installing the development tools is not very hard), I really can't see sufficient need (or even interest) to warrant the massive investment of time, and so it is very unlikely. My thanks too for all your previous hard work. I won't be rep...

I've just tried adding radio - 704 & 707; the channels seem to be picked up...... but there's no radio data. Thanks for checking and replying. That's what I'm seeing by opening (in Excel) the xmltv.xml file output by mc2xml.exe. The radio channels are all listed there, but there's no programme ...

Is anyone other than me still using the Microsoft Legacy source? As of yesterday I'm getting data for the TV channels but nothing for any of the radio channels. Would be interested to know if it's just me or whether Microsoft Legacy are failing to supply any radio EPG data?

Thanks

Great - thanks EMJB.

Hi EMJB - I know you are now experimenting with Schedules Direct - am I correct to assume that X4 (and later variants) will still work with Microsoft Legacy data?

Thanks

I really can't see any benefit at all from an extra day of searching (certainly not compared to the downside of running a practically totally untested version of MyStuff (except for my own use)). However, if you are really that keen then I can try to compile a new build for you. PM me your contact ...

there seems to data only to 6 am Saturday 2/7/2016, i.e. for 10 days. However I suppose there is a remote possibility that this could be a limitation of the free trial. I haven't tried Schedules Direct myself, but it has been remarked in another forum [see http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.ph...

I wasn't thinking so much of a new release version for the installer - more of a one-off beta version MyStuff.tap file that could be overwritten onto the Toppy. I seem to recall trialing one or two beta versions like that some years ago. I certainly wouldn't ask BobD to put in any significant time/e...

I'd be asking the same question - what do you want to gain, in practical terms? Theoretical gain: A typical 2-week holiday abroad means being away from home for 15 days (eg. Saturday to Saturday inclusive). The current ability to search 14 days data means that checking timers/searches on the Friday...

One reason maybe is to check timers set if you are going away for a couple of weeks? That certainly. Also perhaps just a question of a habit I've been in of only doing a once-a-week review of the schedules and check of the Toppy timers. If only looking/checking for 7 days ahead then being a day or ...
