You might get results launching file explorer in 32bit mode... https://www.morovia.com/kb/Howto-Launch ... 10610.html At least it's a quick test rather than, say, installing a third-party 32bit file explorer.

Hi Neil

RecShellExt looks the business. I've not used it but the related TFRecEdit seems fine on Win10.

Good luck. :)

Scanning the excellent manual, MyStuff's multi-user 'hide locked files' might have some mileage (Section 11.4 & option P1).

I suspect "The Internet" will be trickier.

No, the source files are fine. (See the .rec -> .ts file sizes posted earlier [where a 2hr 38m recording converts to 4m]).

No, just that there's no network share involved.

(The truncations I'm seeing are local disk source & destination [win10 ntfs]).

The problem with large files that I found with my latest unpublished version was purely related to the calculation of % complete, and the output files were in fact OK Sorry, looking at X4 this morning (local disk only), 2GB files were fine, the threshold appears to be somewhere over 3GB... Hi EMJB X8 [...] I am working on a version Thanks once more. I didn't mention anything at the time because I though development was unlikely... converting rec files under X4 I found that large recordings - around 2GB+ - were silently truncated. If you'd like me to test X8 (or host the file) just let...

Sorry, it's gone. It might be worth popping open and cleaning -- there's a topic or two about that on the forum.

Free TF5800 remote

Hi All I just found a remote hiding behind the TV which is up for grabs. It's from a 2009 TF5800BP which died a death a while back. As far as I know, it works fine. Free to anyone who PMs an address. https://www.dropbox.com/s/7qm83r2spydpldh/TF5800BP-RCU_600x1522.jpg?dl=0 Batteries not included. ;) ...

a sluggish grid EPG screen I've not noticed that here but 99% of the time I'm only running up/down now-next on about 30 'Favourites' channels. (Freeview terrestrial EPG on timeshifting disk, 'HD blue 720' skin). subtitles are laughably badly timed Sounds good ;) but I haven't had to (find out how t...

Enigma2/ViX it sounds like a cumbersome and strictly-for-techies solution that kind of covers the desired functionality, but not really. And can be a bit buggy. ...that couldn't be further from the truth. It sounds about right from my perspective (Vu+Duo2 + OpenViX, terrestrial-only). I think it wo...

Start up time never bothered me -- I had many hundreds of programmes (~1.2TB, most of which still needs shunting to the E2 box) across a fairly deep directory structure and I remember a 30 or 40 second delay. Patching to BBC1 on start-up meant avoiding exposure to commercial ads (which would have bo...
