Hi Geoff, Back today after being away for a week. Looking at progs recorded since being away, it seems that from Tuesday 19th everything was OK, all titles and descriptions legible. So I will not be re-formatting or reinstalling. I notice that there are a few people raising this issue on the Huntsha...

My latest efforts: Have tried re-installing MyStuff using GCBMyStuffinstaller, did not fix the problem. As my toppys do an EPG collection scan between 02.30 and 03.00, I now think that when the xmitter was off, from 00.07 to 04.30, the lack of signal screwed the toppy itself. I intend to reset to fa...

More info to my original post: I have found that ALL of my Freeview equipment (TVs and 2 x Toppy 5810) is affected by the problem, exception being my latest Panasonic TV? The problem I see is that 90% of the EPG programme titles and descriptions are made up of unintelligible characters (a charachter...

EPG2mei tap list shows gobbledy-gook

Earlier today switched on Toppy 5810 and most timer list progs are rubbish characters.
Tried deleting (Z2) and restarting, but the list still comes up rubbish.
Can anyone help, please?

Replacement for Harmony logitec 600 universal remote

I'm actually considering the 650, the 2011 version, but I wondered if other Toppy users had found something as good as Logitech, or better!

Replacement for Harmony logitec 600 universal remote

Can anyone recommend a replacement for my Harmony 600 - it has gone on the blink.

Happy with it to control the Toppy and now need to replace.

Any reasonable suggestions?

In 6.3 there will be new options (NB: Nothing is final until it's released): PowerOff W1: PowerOff Handler=Internal W2: Enable automatic PowerOff=Yes W3: Auto PowerOff Time=01:00 W4: Shutdown after EPG Scan Timer=No Julie OK, so what would be the W settings for 'Go to standby when all current recor...

Not sure about this specific case, but duplicates CAN cause problems that aren't apparently related to the channels that are actually duplicated, so getting rid of them is always wise. Julie If I do an auto scan, I get duplicates from a transmitter in Wales (mine is Huntshaw Cross, Devon). I get no...

I have tried your 5.1 RC1 and, as far as I can see, it has fixed the problem! New signature from it shown below.
