^ Indeed! I'm just grateful the Nigel could be bothered to go through the pain of upgrading just for the few of us that are still here. Much appreciated :D

Thanks Nigel. It is much appreciated.

Is there any way to make a donation? The donation link now goes to a generic page. Happy to do it via PM if that's easier

Same here. I even emailed Nigel using the contact form till I remembered that using the forgotten password link would be easier for both of us

Re: Emails for Private Messages

I was going to say that choosing "Active Topics" from the dropdown will give you a list of the most recent topic postings, sorted by date. At least it does this on other forums I'm on that have upgraded. But here, it doesn't seem to display anything :(

It's fine when spinning by itself, but as soon as it's pressed against the top of the Toppy it starts misbehaving. Maybe I'll get the same again as it's still cheap

Came in to my Toppy sounding like a lathe this morning. I was worried it might be the disk on the way out, but luckily it was "just" the fan. I guess the bearings have gone which is a bit annoying as it's only just over 3 years old. I've removed it for now and all is quiet, but I t...

Rather than drilling, have you thought about using zipties? They can obviously accommodate variations in hole placement and are much easier to fit

Thanks Geoff. It plays fine from the native archive, so I guess MS reads the header and processes radio files in a different way. In the MS archive, it says it's Misery from Film4, but the N&N is different when MS plays it...

Film tagged as Radio in MS

I had a crash the other night. It wiped the TV channels but kept the disk OK(-ish). There were a couple of truncated recordings, but the health appears fine. I have a problem that a film I recorded earlier in the evening now plays strangely when started from MS. When MS starts a radio recording, it ...
