Hi Stu's TV, PM received! Unfortunately I have never tried using Antares on Windows 10, so I might not be very helpful in diagnosing your problems, at least not at the moment. I've spent the last few years in the USA for work, away from my Toppy. I just recently got back to Australia, so I now fina...

Thanks Geoff , most informative. I got the HDD from ebay, second hand, so I'm not really that surprised by what you're saying. Not down to me leaving it on over-night, I'm far too a*** retentive for that to happen! :D But will keep my eye out for a replacement HDD, and YES my toppy does have a futur...

Here you go Geoff, doesn't mean much to me! Tho I don't particularly like the look of: Acronis Health Indicator = 25 %! File System Analysis -------------------- Generated by fsCheck 1.5 on 02/07/2017 16:50 VERDICT: The file system appears GOOD Number of folders = 22 Number of files ...

Many thanks Geoff , finally, I have MyStuff installed and running, TopManager connects and I've finally escaped that standard Toppy interface.... Reformatting the toppy's hard drive did the trick. Just the Windows 10 issue (if, in fact, that's what it is) to be sorted, I've PM'ed qubits , so let's s...

Thanks Geoff, that was where my thinking was taking me, figuring the problem had to be at the toppy end of thinks. Will give the re-formatting a go. Will post the results....

Right, I've got my hands on another laptop running Windows 7, it's like traveling back in time!! Anyhow, drivers loaded (using z4t), yippee! However, when I try and connect TopManager I get: Connecting to Toppy1... Attempting to open USB connection using tfWinUSB.dll ... USB connection to Topp...

Maybe I should rephrase my last sentence... Last year, I reinstalled the driver after the anniversary update. Ah, yes I managed to connect a year or so ago with Windows 10, even tho z4t said Driver installation failed! I've uninstalled some of the toppy software on my PC (only TopManager left on it...

I've just tried on my (up to date ) windows 10 pc and it works fine. Reinstalled driver after the anniversary update last year. Hummmm, must just be my PC then! I have automatic windows updates turned on, so constantly (well, once every week or so) getting Windows updates. I've looked in the Regist...

Roll back driver is greyed-out! I think borrowing another PC is probably my best option, I'll have to look into how I can get hold of one...... Many thanks for the offer of file retrieval. I actually managed to re-format the toppy's hard drive, not 100% sure how I managed that! It was very late nigh...

Your initial post implies that the toppy used to work about a year ago. Is there any chance you can rollback the driver to that time? (possibly harder because you have tried to load it several times recently). Another post implies that you can delete the .inf for the driver and this will cause wind...

Hi Guys Bizman yes, seen that thread, it was the one I started last time I had connection problems. YorkshireJumbo yes, I thought I had done this. However, after reading your post I thought I'd give it another go. So, I: 1. Uninstalled the WinUSB.SYS driver (again!) and disconnected the USB lead. 2....

Hi Geoff Thanks for that. I can only see the driver for the Toppy when the Toppy is connected to the USB. Then, once I have removed the driver the Toppy becomes invisible! Nothing happens when hit the 'Properties' button in the 'Topfield (libusb-winsub) Properties' Window, the toppy is no longer vis...
