No problem.
But then I checked and couldn't find the MyInfo TAP in the list of TAPs currently running on the Toppy. Is this because :-
1] After re-booting it just starts automatically from autostart and once it has created the log file it shuts itself down, or
2] Although it was once there, it needs to be re-started.
If the latter, then I couldn't find the "recording services" element described in the "beginner's guide to installing TAPs" and in particular the three top level folders ? Data Files, MP3 and Program Files.
I presumed that if there was an installed TAP requiring to be started, then this element would be revealed but perhaps I am wrong. But I should see the top level folders anyway and using the FFwd buttons etc doesn't reveal them. Something seems to be wrong. |

The former. MyInfo runs, generates the log file and exits.
To get to the TAPs or MP3s, you need to access the NATIVE archive. In MyStuff if your options are default, press archive a second time to get to the native archive. If that doesn't work, press Play to bring up the playbar, and then press Archive. From there << will get you to the ProgramFiles folder.

Ok thanks very much, but it will have to wait until Monday night now as I'm off to see daughter and family in Edinburgh. |

I'm trying to resolve a possible inconsistency between the firmwares meantioned in different threads. eg recommended/MyStuff recommended etc and cannot find the MyInfo.ini file in the MyStuff download area. I guess it is well hidden in the MyStuffinstaller setup.exe ? |

Should be avilable in the zip for the tap from the tap author. All of which can be found from 'TAPs' link to the left of this forum but here's the link anyway...

I'm asking the question because the Myinfo.zip ini does not appear to be the one I want.....

Ah, in that case I think the MyStuff Installer is the only way to get what you need. Why it should only be in the Installer...? I don't know |

I think the myinfo download in the mystuff installer comes from

That'll be the one, I maintain it. If anyone else wants to step up to the plate just let me know! All Installer links are in the 'What does the Installer Do?' thread.

The version of Startup Accelerator [S] in PatchPackV2:
http://www.toppy.org.uk/~r2-d2/PatchPackV2.zip
is different to the one linked to on page:
http://www.toppy.org.uk/~r2-d2/patches.html#S
I assume 04 is the one to use?
Can't see any mention of it on the thread! |

It would be great if FWPatcher could provide a list of the patches (as used in the signature).
Apart from using the list in the signature, I have a number of firmware versions and would like to quickly compare them, patch wise.
Currently I load the firmware versions into FWPatcher and manually list down which patches are ticked. This is quite time consuming and prone to error. All that would be needed is for them to be listed in a Text Box that could be copied from, I could then paste the list into MyInfo.ini or a spreadsheet etc.
I appreciate I could use the ?MyInfo? but that means I would have to load each firmware onto the toppy to get the list.
Regards

May I suggest including the Wf - WindFaster_08 patch and the Z - Disable0AspectSwitching_02 patch in the recommended 5.13.65T firmware?
Whenever I mention these to Toppy owners, they all say that they would like to have them, especially people that are coming off the 5.14.0x versions. |
