Hi all, do you have access to any audio perameters (bass, treble, tone, graphic eq, etc) within your TAP toolset?

just wondering if a sound adjustment feature could be introduced for playback of mp3's etc

cheers, Pickle

No, there are no TAP audio options like that. You can always process the sound using an external amp.

Is it possible to delay the sound slightly?

Many broadcasters end of putting out leading audio due to video processing. The audio is usually only advanced by a couple of frames, and by itself this is not noticeable. However, 100Hz TVs and plasma screens insert additional video delay. The two sources of delay together in the video path can make lip sync obviously wrong.

You would not tend to notice slight audio delay (as opposed to video delay) because this is a familiar effect in the real world - light travels faster than sound.

On this basis it may be beneficial to delay all sound by a couple of frames (80mS). Can this be done with TAPs?
