Hi all,

I loaded RemoteExtenderMHEG into the Autostart folder in conjunction with MyStuff 4.54, and then when I press Guide the MyStuff EPG isn't displayed (nothing is).

Removing the RemoteExtender tap fixes it.

Am I missing something?

Weird. Can I ask, do you have eit2mei in AutoStart as well? You need some way of grabbing EPG data. If you have no data when the Guide button doesn't work. This could be your problem. The setup procedure is describe in the manual linked from my sig.

When you say RE fixes it, what does the guide that is displayed look like? It is the Toppy EPG or is a Grid EPG (ie MyStuff). Does it have any data in it?

Let us know...

Hi,

I do have eit2mei in autostart along with MyStuff and Remoteextender.

Before I installed RE all was finew, MyStuff EPG, full download all working etc... with RE Guide doesn't work at all (no EPG, even native)

Remove RE from autostart folder, restart unit and MyStuff is back on Guide button.

That's just plain weird. Where did you get the version of RemoteExtender from? Do you know what revision it is? Also what firmware are you using, RE is firmware dependant so you need to have a later version if you are running the lastest firmware,

From my download looks like RE v1.2

Firmware is latest (downbloaded only a few days ago). 5.13 ?!?

O.k. that's the same as me and mine is fine?!? Can you post in the RemoteExtender thread and ask SimonC if he can suggest what is going wrong?

As you are clearly installing several TAPs and configuring them, I suggest you also install TAPCommander which will let you enable/disable/reorder TAPs. TAP ordering (loading) IS important and TAPCommander is a useful tool to resolve some of the related problems.

Won't make any difference where you post it, I dunno what's wrong! Are you using the trying to open the guide whilst viewing BBCi or Teletext?
