Does anyone know whereabouts of the TAP to permanently have the LED display on the front of the toppy showing the time? (it had other features, like displaying current file being played back, remaining times, etc)

It was writted by DeadBeef, and was invaluable on my TF5000. But I can't seem to find it anywhere now I need it again!

Anyone? Confused

It is in the TAP library under "TF5000 (LCD) Display TAP".

Look in the TAP section and you will find it.
The dropdown menu at the top.

You could also find it by doing an author search for "Deadbeef" on this forum.

Some TAPs (usually the ones not meant or working with TF5800) can be also found from TAPWorld

Anyone know how this can be found now?

The site hosting it appears to be finito.

EDIT: Please ignore this - I just realised this has been answered in another thread!

I cannot find TF5000Display TAP anymore!
The geocities site that hosted it before is gone and the advice here to look at the TAP section fails too, unless this page is not the page referred to.
I have searched for it there but there are no hits!
Any ideas, please?

Yes, but why is it not listed in the Toppy.org.uk site?
And there are other TAPs there that point to the dead geocities server (for example eit2mei)....

IIRC the TAP postings on this site are maintained by the TAP authors. If they decide not to list and maintain them here that's their choice. TAPWorld on the other hand was maintained by an enthusiast that trawled the net and catalogued all the TAPs they found.

or TAP authors can submit their TAPs to TAPWorld for cataloguing.
