Very impressed so far with it. Well done!

One very minor bug. In grid view, when you scroll to the right the little yellow bar showing you where you are at the moment moves to the right on each scroll to the right until it goes off the screen after moving about 6 hours ahead in time. If you scroll to the left it stays where it should.
Well done bug No. 2 Wink

I'll add it to the change log.

Well done. It was worth the wait. Very Happy

I really like the folders being hidden if they're empty and the speed of archive in exclusive mode.

Quick question: I use EIT2MEI with background scans and have MyStuff refreshing every ten minutes. Will this just adjust CTs or will it also adjust single recordings set through MyStuff if there's a schedule change? I expect it's the former and if so I'll just set CTs for things after football matches etc.

Thanks for all the work. More beer money on the way. Very Happy
It works for all timers (record and watch, CT or One-Off's) Cool

Dunno if I am doing anything wrong/missed something but i have 2 problems with the new 4.5 release.

Every now and then, whenever I press Guide, I am informed my epg data has 0 days left, yet I can go forward +24 hours for several days. I am using eit2mei with the epg file called Freeview.mei.

The other problem is, I am still asked for the pin when viewing the Boomerang channel recordings. (I love Looney Tunes Smile )
Hmmm, sorry I don't have an immediate solution. TUTV stuff has always, will always, be an issue for the test team as none of us subscribe. We did resolve the PIN issue for TUTV recordings, thanks to DX, but it could be bust again given the amount of development Bob has done since we last looked at this one. I'll get Bob to check the code for that and see if I can borrow a friends card/cam and check it out.

The only issue I had with Boomarang was trying to set timers for schedule change tests. I can see the epg data and set the timer, but it doesn't stick when MS refreshes itself. I had to use a rather less flavoursome channel instead so that I didn't impact real timers the family wanted.

Sorry, forgot to ask... Do you, or anyone else for that matter, have any issues with the other TUTV channels? Or is it just Boomerang?

OK First things first. Thanks BobD and the team for an excellent update!

I have found a bugette. In the options menu for Now and Next, lots of options say "description area" when they should say "title bar".

Now my plea for help. I would like to set up MyStuff's N&N as my main Now and Next Box, having used ImproBox in the past. The problem is it's lack of support in Radio mode.

Ideally, I'd like to use MyStuff in TV mode and ImproBox in Radio mode.

Has anyone managed this successfully?
Any hints?

My problem is I can't get Improbox to go away fully in TV mode.....

I don?t have TUTV anymore, but I do have one recording from TCM left and it asks for a PIN.

Upgraded to 4.5 without a hitch this morning Very Happy

Many thanks to

Bobd for his talent and dedication to this project
Bawbagg for 'inventing' MEI
Simonc for Skinbuilder (and all of his Taps)
Chunkywizard for the excellent manual
And all of the test team (Bawbagg, Hyde, Mark_B, Wildoat & ChunkyWizard) for your dedication, testing and support

I have been working through the changelog and I thought I would post my top 10 favourites

01-Auto Padding Removal across channels & Per CT padding options
02-Exclusive Mode
03-CT Automove & Folder management
04-Clash Timer count & Display Clash Timers
05-New option to specify interval to reload EPG data and ControlTimers
06-option to hide the Description Area in the Archive
07-Press Recall in Archive or Options to return to first line
08-FullScreen Mode & New skin elements
09-Timer Optimisation:
10-CTs that are set to Off will now show the number of timers they would have set

These additions along with all the others were def worth the wait

(Just noticed that Mystuff 4.5 has allready been downloaded 257 times in its first few hours of release. Cool )

FYI - I just made a few test recordings on Boomerang and Cartoon Network and replayed them without any PIN problems. They were a mixture of decrypted (green $) and encrypted (yellow $) recordiings. I am using 5.12.77 firmware however.

Edit: I am also using the MyStuffPin.ini file.

What are you using as the source of your EPG data?

When is this program on? I can't find that in the RT schedules. I can find 2 more Imagine* programs, but neither have that full title.

It was on last tuesday, should have really edited it to start with to just starting with imagine as all the program titles in the series are slightly different. I have created a new one with just imagine, but thought you might want to know before I delete the old one.

My EPG source is using RT2MEI, let me know if you would like any more info etc, or if you are happy for me to delete the old control timer

Many thanks for doing that DX Very Happy

IIRC the PIN file is only used for valid parental control settings, the TUTV issue is a fixed offset? Or does the position of that code you identified change with each f/w release too?

Then again, it worked for me on .25 when we tested it Confused

For those of you with PIN problems on TUTV channels...

Are these recordings still showing as encrypted and are they more than a month old, when viewed with the Toppy Archive?

I'm just wondering if this issue isn't related to the problem whereby the encryption keys have changed and TUTV won't allow you to playback a recording after the keys have changed.

If you can playback the file from the Toppy Archive, then that blows that theory though Shocked

I don't believe the TUTV PIN issue to be firmware specific - I was running .25 when I originally looked at it. The issue then was which bits were returned by a TAP api call so I would expect them to remain the same. I suppose since they were undocumented Topfield could change the api, but that would break .77 not .25.

I just thought I'd better mention any possible differences between my setup and that of people seeing the problem, hence the firmware and ini file comments.

All I can think is there is some other factor involved here yet to be identified. If those with problems are willing perhaps a factory reset and delete of ProgramFiles would be in order? Then repeat the test from a known starting point with new recordings and see if it still happens.
