I am using , has there been an update that I have missed?

I think Hyde wanted you to post in the main eit2mei thread (it's much easier to keep track of things that way) but to answer your question.

If you are using Beta 2 then you have missed several beta releases. The latest release version is Beta 6.2. There have been a couple of later test versions with international support but I wouldn't bother with those unless you live outside the UK.

The details of the features are in the ReadMe that comes in the Beta 6.2 zip file, or you can read the main eit2mei thread.

I thought I had done the posts on both occasions in the main thread, I don't know what went wrong.

Did you press New Topic by mistake? While viewing a thread you can add to it by either quote (as you just did) or Post Reply. The latter is next to New Topic so it's easy to hit the wrong one.
