anyone used this tap as an alternative to power manager.

Basicly i have noticed that my toppy seems to be on most mornings.
so i think power manager has stopped working for me.

I have replaced the tap and i have re-ordered in every way but it won't work.
so i noticed Jags_Auto-Off.

any thoughts on this?

Hi

I have tried this Tap in the past but find it does not work onmy 5800T, I think it is designed for another Toppy make.

All i get displayed is the TImer screen, it does not actually set a sleep timer.

Regards

Andy

jindod: Have you tried (a) downloading the latest version of Power Manager and (b) deleting ALL your Auto Start TAPs and ini files BOTH from Program Files AND Auto Start directories (copy to PC first) and then seeing if it works on its own. You can then add the other TAPs back one-by-one. TAP Commander is also a very useful TAP to use for re-ordering etc so you might want to install that as well.

Powermanager is quoted on this site as version 1.1

You can sign up for email notifications to TAP updates by clicking on the arrow icon shown on the TAP pop-up window accessed from the TAP library.

1.1 is the latest PowerManager.

There are a couple of reasons why it may still be on in the morning.

1) Do you have a timer for a JAGs search overnight - could be you are having the 'not turning off after a watch timer' bug.

2) Try turning the toppy off and on again. I once had a case where powermanager tried to turn the Toppy off, but for some reason the Toppy did not want to play (never worked out why and it hasn't happened since). Unfortunatly PowerManager closes when it thinks it has done it's thing which means if the Toppy doesn't play ball, then it won't be running to do the same thing the next day. I will change that when I get round to doing another version.
