I have previously been using JAG successfully but decided to give MyStuff a go with the download of Radio Times data using the Bawbagg MEI app.

I downloaded the RT data for the selected channels into DATA.XML and copied that across to the Program Files folder on the Toppy - renaming to 'MyStuff.mei' - retaining the case as shown.

I then started MyStuff and it seemed to be there so I pressed MENU to change Opion 44 to 7 and then I selected the option to Reload the data.

The Topy seemed to crash but it may have simply done a Restart I guess.
When it did reboot it went into a shutdown and restart loop from which there was no escape.

I booted pressing the 0 key and removed it from Aurtostart so I can go back to JAG temporarily but I need to get to the bottom of what is stopping it. My initial feeling was that the data was incomplete/corrupted in some way - perhaps I got the Filename wrong but it didn't seem to survive a user (my) error which bothered me.

Any suggstions or advice?

Roy

Not sure where you got that set of instructions from Confused

You need Bawbaggs application to convert the data.xml file to the MyStuff.mei file. You can't simply download and copy the xml file.

Take a look at:-

http://www.toppy.org.uk/documents/MyStuff403Manual.pdf

Follow the links in section 4.1.2 to bawbaggs web site where you'll get the setup info you need.

Thank you Hyde - I didn't realise that although it is clear if I had read the information correctly.

I have a problem still but I am trying a few things before I come back

Thanks again
