With the clocks changing at the weekend there is bi-annual event of messing about with the household timepieces. I have 3 radio-controlled clocks which can be left to sort themselves out. The Toppy I deal with by setting it to briefly come out of standby after 02:00 to avoid any hiccups over the first recording of the day.

My grandfather clock is a pain because it is bad practice to turn the hands back past a chime point, so it has to be stopped for an hour & then restarted.

There are always some i overlook, typically the one in the car and my mobile phone clock, so what time-pieces do you have that frequently get overlooked?

Spare watch - the one I only where when I don't want to risk damage to the good one. Always a shock when I put it on then some time later realise I'm either very late or have lot more time than anticipated!

I set a watch timer for the Toppy, or just turn it on in the morning as there is very little on a Sunday AM the Toppy comes on for.

I always forget the washing machine, but our old campervan stays on Summer Time all year round, 'cos that's what it is for.

Advance it 11 hours instead? (or 23, if it knows about am/pm so that it can not-chime at night).

I forget to reset the timezone on the various forums (?fora?) which don't do it for you...

Advancing it requires a pause at every chimepoint to allow at least one strike, so with 4 points per hour x11 means 44 pauses. If I stop it, I can do something else for an hour. It was designed before we started messing about with BST/GMT changes.
