Same here, but be aware that LCNs 62 & 72 are currently just ITV placeholders with scarcely any content apart from Teleshopping, to be of use. They are just using up Toppy memory .

Looks OK to me too, although, if you generated the signature using PcControl, I would have expected it to say the name of your transmitter (MyInfo doesn't do that).

This could mean that you manually edited your previous signature (assuming it was generated by PcControl) or I have a coding error somewhere.

the sig was done via top manager as were the channels.
it did show me a list of transmitters, i selected tacholneston from the several anglia ones.
we are about 15 miles as the crow flies from this transmitter.
i deleted the old separate CO direct from the toppy, also there was a newer version in the utilities folder, so i had had 2 on there.

id missed this piece from the copy and paste:

@tippy

The piece you omitted showed that the log was generated by MyInfo (hence no transmitter name) whereas you generated the signature after using PcControl| Pcc Info. In fact you could have posted the Pcc Info (it mimics the MyInfo Log).

Might be worth using the Tools| Analyze ProgramFiles option to see if you have any other duplicated taps (if you expand the sections, you can delete directly from the displayed entries).

Now that the MyInfo looks OK, how is the EPG going?

Geoff

i did use Analyse Program Files but couldnt delete the old CO, so i deleted it manually from the toppy afterwards, Analyse Program Files didnt throw up anything else, tomorrow i will do it again and screenshot the result and put it on here, and anything else you suggest.
the epg is still the same at the minute.

Three of the mux's on Tacolneston are marked as 55-, 59- and 39+, which I think means that the frequency is +/- what's been quoted.

Not sure if this might be significant.

Have you tried the SignalMonitor tap to check out signal strength/quality ?

What it means is the the frequency is normally 8*LCN+308 MHz but can be 0.2 as indicated by the + or -. Shouldn't make any difference.

Could take quite some time to sort itself out.
I don't know why, but the epg can take ages (days?) to get fully populated.
Mine eventually recovered.

There are a number of reports/complaints about gaps in the EPG, for me BBC2 is particularly bad.

The tuners should have already detected the correct frequencies for the muxes that have + or - after them (the +- are just for humans!)

To post the signal data from TM:-
1) PcControl| Measure Signals ...
2) Select both tuners, and a 5 or 10 second measurement time
3) Get Levels
4) When table filled, right click in table and select a "copy to Clipboard as Padded text" option
5) paste the output into this thread

Also, where there is a gap in the MyStuff epg, can you check whether or not it is the same in the native EPG (Press >, between << and >>, before pressing the Guide button)

Geoff

i will do that tomorrow geoff, and post here.
the gaps in epg are numerous.
monday bbc1 from 9:30am too 9pm, itv1 from 6pm to 9pm, itv2 from 6am to 12:30pm plus many of the rarely used sites.
tuesday bbc1 6pm to 9pm.
wednesday bbc1 3pm too 6pm, itv1 6pm too midnight
thursday itv1 and C4 9pm to midnight
friday itv1 3pm too 6pm and bbc1 6pm too 2am saturday.
and so on.
another issue which was there this morning before updating is i use the PIP button in epg to go to prime time, more presses take you through prime time for everday, this is now very intermittent and when half working only does today and monday, the rest of the time it will only do today.
all the missing epg seems too be missing from the native epg too.

If the epg info missing from Native toppy, then no surprise also missing from MyStuff. I recall that Mystuff epg page move commands do not work if there is nothing in the selected channel to jump to - so that is same problem.

MyStuff epg collection is via epg2mei, and epg2mei tries to hide in the background after toppy boots and waits for a while after key presses.

I'd recommend leaving the toppy on overnight tuned to BBC One, and see if it is better in the morning!

hi,
i will do that tonight, i generally put toppy into standby.
would it be a good idea to use z2 and delete the epg before going to bed, along with leaving it on bbc1.
