Hello,
In CO i set the following -
1 use current transmitter, 2. delete defualts illegal channels, 3. delete channels user review.
After it has finished its scan i cant see itv2+1 in the listing at all. I am sure i am doing something stupid, and tbh it doesn't really matter but i thought it might be an easy fix.
Cheers

Hannington uses 41,42,44,45,47 so you're missing Ch41.
Suggest you try CO but select Hannington rather than the current transmitter.
Latest (test) version of CO is here. |

I don't believe that you can select Hannington in the old version of CO (but you can if you use the new version)
[edit]As a last resort, use the old version to do a full channel scan and then delete the unwanted duplicate muxes) [/edit]

(still think you'd be better off using TM!) |

Which is (and always has been) a useless piece of junk
It tells me "your local transmitter is Dover"
This is a low power transmitter which cannot be seen from my location.
I get all my signals (all channels) from Bluebell Hill and have done since that site said I would only get limited service.
The site doesn't take into consideration local obstructions to signal etc. |

Hello all,
I grabbed the b1.2 version of CO, but there i cant select a specific transmitter. It does give ALL or current or red/green etc but i am not sure what they mean. I am a bit scared to scan all UK transmitters incase it creates duplicates and problems. I got the CO tap off the toppy site, is this the latest one?
Thanks

As others have said you are probably missing a MUX on transmitter channel 41 from Hangington.
The easiest and quickest way to fix this may be to manually scan for the MUX
On the Toppy, Menu -> Installation -> Service search
Change "Search Mode" to manual
Channel = 41
The level and quality bars in the bottom right hand corner of the screen should show a 50%+ level and a 98%+ quality level if its a valid MUX from the transmitter.
Then Start search
This will only search Transmitter MUX channel 41 and add the TV channels to what you already have.
Now hit the exit key to quit.
You can then use CO to get rid of any dross channels on that MUX. |

You have probably used Fastscangui at some point. You will need to do a factory reset to get rid of the last traces of it's work. Possibly two. Then rescan using CO, but make sure that fastscangui is not still in place at all.
Edit: its work. Not my fault, honest. |

As I mentioned earlier, I would try the latest test version of CO which allows you to select a specific transmitter.
Latest (test) version of CO is here.

A Toppy native manual scan should allow you to select any transmitter channel from 21 to 69. A Toppy manual scan doesn't use TAPs etc. so should not have any knowledge of what may have been excluded in the past. |
