After scanning for new channels my TF-5810PVRt is showing the 'Firmware was changed with a latest one' message and it does not respond to the Yes or No buttons.
I have tried to download Empty Settings as suggested in other posts but nothing happens. I open the TFDN-USB Firware Update Program and find the Empty Settings file, click download, and turn on my Toppy but it does not start the download, it just runs and I get the same message on my TV screen.
I know that the USB connection is working as I can run Antares and see the files on the PVR. I am running Windows 7. Any help would be greatly appreciated as, at the moment, I am stuck. |

You can use Antares to download firmware onto a 5810.
Just doubleclick the .tfd file and follow the instructions. |

You probably need a factory reset (only timers are lost) and rescan. |

@Tonid
When you say "delete unwanted programs", do you mean unwanted channels?
If so, install TopManager (link in my signature)
1) Use Connection| Settings to create a USB connection (then Connection| Open)
2) Tools| Install files| PcControl - then reboot toppy
3) PcControl| Show menus then PcControl| Channel Management
4) Identify My Transmitter in top combo box; choose your transmitter
5) Perform scan
6) Right click in display and choose "select all pay, porn, shopping"...
7) Delete Channels and then Finalize
If you don't want to use TM, you will need to do a manual scan and then use ChannelOrganiser to delete unwanted channels (don't do it manually with the remote as you may end up deleting "wrong duplicates")
