Well, you know subSilver users don't get anything much at all round these parts Wink

The only officially supported templates at Toppy2 and ToppySideways at the moment. I'll see if I can find time to tinker with subSilver, but it's been so long I don't even know where all the bits are kept!

Just looked at those two and I would prefer to stick with subSilver as it is much less of a strain on my tired old eyes. Plus there is no New Posts button at the top of the page on those other two skins meaning you have to go the bottom of the page first to find it - an oversight?

TBH leave it alone if you are likely to break it. I can live without the Google search button.

Ages since I used the subSilver skin, but didn't I put a link in to the site search page some while back? That will give you the google search.

I'm not seeing it on subSilver.

It's the magnifying glass. TBH first time I have noticed it. Smile

So it is. Very Happy

Like gomezz, I've checked out the 'preferred' templates (Toppy2 and ToppySideways) and I'm sticking with subSilver.

For fellow subsilver users:

If you type the following into a Google search:
Code:
" " site:.toppy.org.uk

and then Bookmark that page then the next time you click on this Bookmark you simply enter what you want to search for between the quotes and hit [Enter] and this saves you from having to type "" " site:.toppy.org.uk" each time.

That is effectively what the magnifying glass does.
