exTap has a function, dword exTAP_UTCtoLocalTime(dword utc).
Pass it a UTC time, and it will return the local time, so you can then determine the local offset.

It's in the Clock Setup part of the Flash -- see FireBird's Internal Info doc.

I'm a bit offtopic...
For a mistake in my tap for the Epg I deleted all the complete dir \DataFiles...nice gift for xmas...
Fortunately, using TopfHDRW I recovered all my video files but every title has "0 min" of duration, plays fine, but QuickJump doesn't work (the normal ff/rew works fine).
Is there a way to fix the duration ?

P.S: Merry Christmas to everybody !

You could try [Ed] plus EIT_Sub_(N&N).

I tryed EIT_Sub_(N&N) (after in my tap that disable EIT Collection...) but the N&N Event are not captured...the infobox is always empty. Maybe your tap has specific implementation for UK ?
Is the source code available so I can adapt it for Italy ?

Does it complain on the serial port?

This is what I got from serial port:

Code:

EIT Sub (N&N) 00007080

EIT Sub (N&N): sf=8018B330 pf=8018B38C n1=80104C9C n2=8018B678 n3=8010A634 SetOth=8019A354 FreeOth=8019A38C

EIT Sub (N&N): APF=8018B391 SetFilt0=8018BB58 FreeFilt=8018BBD8 NOPLocn1=80104CC0 (C062CE0) NOPLocn2=8018B6A0 (C062CE0) NOPLocn3=8010A660 (C062CE0)

Disabling EIT

(in the mean time I have changed many channel and then I exit using TAPCommander...)

Enabling EIT

With EIT_Sub_n&n active no events are showned.
As soon I exit from Eit_Sub_n&n they appear...

Hi,
is it normal that events in the past are still showed (in gray) in the EPG ?
They seems to be removed only when I switch to the relative channel...

Looks fairly positive. I guess the big issue is whether your broadcaster sends EIT data for all muxes on every mux (the UK's Freeview does). If not then EIT_Sub is not for you at all, since it's hard to control what's on Path A [not related to tuners].

I know that each of our broadcaster sends only own n&n event data, nobody sends data of other...
Only one broadcaster sends the own full weekly epg data.
I fear that I have to hook Eit process...
What about old event in the epg grid that are in gray instead to be hide ?

OK, so EIT_Sub is of no use to you, then.

Yes, old events may be kept for a while, but are usually culled at the earliest opportunity in the normal firmware. [Ez] stops it doing that and tries to keep a day's worth of old data.

R2-D2,
I tryed [Ez] applying it on fw on ram but seems to be the same of before: still past event in the epg grid (that disappear as soon I change to that channel...).
May be is better to apply [Ez] to real firmware so it is loaded at startup ?

PS: Did you see this problem with TSSaver http://forum.toppy.org.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?p=232757#232757 ?
