Sorry, can't answer that but I'd also like to know when series 2 will be shown again. I saw the recent showing of series 1 on BBC1 for the first time.

I'd hoped they'd carry straight on and show series 2 but it seems they haven't (so far).

Not sure you will. AFAIK the beeb only bought series one and then Murdoch outbid them and 2/3/4 have been on $ky1. Amazon are doing the just out series 4 DVD set for 33 quid.

I thought it was licensing. Sky could ensure that 24 was only available to UK subscribers, so the producers could sell to Europe separately. The Beeb is unencrypted and can't prevent people in Northern France and Holland watching.

The BBC did have series 2; it was just 3 and 4 that went to Sky. Personally, I think the licensing was just a bit of a hissy fit at the BBC going FTA and no longer paying Sky quite so much money.

Nigel.

I got all 4 series in a box set from Costco for 70. When I've watched them all, I'll sell it on eBay. Smile

Is there a way to find out generally when films are set to appear on TV?

I don't mean the (flaky) EPG or TV listsings sites, I mean a website or something where upcoming films are listed well in advance.

So, suppose I want to see the film 'The Verdict', is there somewhere that tells me the next time it's due to be shown on TV?
