Anyone with one of these Technisat HD PVRs? Not much more expensive than the Humax...

Only seems to be able to record one HD channel at a time though. What does the Humax do? Not too much of an issue right now I guess...

Probably no MHEG either, so no interactive red-button or text. No mention of freesat either, so probably only now/next rather than full EPG.

According to this and other reports they are (have been) working on a Freesat box. Turbosat sell the receiver only and call it "Freesat".

The Humax records 2 channels and lets you watch a 3rd, same as the toppy.

Is that two channels both in HD or one in HD with the other in SD?

I've just had a nose around Humax's website and can't find anything to suggest it won't record 2 HD streams. Apparently the hardware can manage 4 streams although the software doesn't allow this.

This seems to be gaining momentum. Prices are still unreasonably high and uncompetitive (partly due to unfavourable Pound/Euro exchange rate). Both the receiver and PVR are now on sale. Here's a recent What Hi Fi Review although, for me, the real reviews on Amazon.de are far more valuable and representative.
