Hi CW,

Is there a 3.2 manual already?! Where do we download it?

Hi Dan,

the manual will be released the same time as the TAP to answer all your questions (at least that's the idea Wink )

Cheers

BobD,

If I remember rightly, in 3.14 you added a new skin command to set the background of cells independently from the main background. Could you remind me what the command is?

I'm playing around with a new skin....

BTW if there are any new skin commands coming up in 3.2, could you give us a head up?

Hi Dan,

check the 3.14 manual, it should be in that (i hope!). Skins are the same in the next version...

It's in the manual as an arrow to "normal program files" but not in the defaults.mcf file so I don't know what the command is!

Hi Dan,

I will change the manual to reflect the proper wording, thanks for pointing it out,

Version 2.0 of the SkinBuilder is now available. Includes a colour selection wheel, a (mostly) TV friendly colour palette, more screenshots to work on, undo and redo Shocked Oh and a couple of bugs fixed too...

Thanks Simon. Looks great - though the window was strangely squished up when I opened it! By the way, could you include the new skin element Bob has added

// Normal Programs in EPG
NormalProgram=95,120,175

Also, is it possible to load up pre-built skins for editing?
And could you have a button to lock the two frame colours into one? Two different colours flicker horridly on my telly! Smile

It is cool that you have made this when you don't even use MyStuff yet....!

Ah, remember that the skins are also used by MeiSearch and TapCommander too!

I'll need screenshots of MyStuff 3.2 using a special skin to add the extra element, otherwise you won't be able to see what you're doing.

Try downloading again. I've added clipboard support, so to get both frames the same, select Frame, choose your color, Ctrl+C, select Frame2, Ctrl+V. If you use the colour wheel, the keyboard focus remains on the dropdown and you just type Ctrl+C, F, Ctrl+V Wink

Hi,

Whilst looking at this great new skinning program I've noticed that the "MoreProgram" attribute that shows a program is longer than that shown in the EGP (little coloured rectangle) does appear on my Toppy? I have v3.14 and have been using MyStuff for a few versions previous to this and have never seen these on my EPG?

Is there an option in MyStuff for this? If not, I really don't know what is going on here??

Thanks,

Tim.

They show on some variations of epg. I use the 12 channel option which doesn't display these markers.

I realise that this is probably too late a request to make it into the next release, but on a similar subject to the preceding post, is there any possibility of providing another alternative for EPG display which uses very large text like JAGs?

I'm looking forward to the new MyStuff but my gf can't read the mystuff EPG very well despite me moving towards the UK timers skin. The text is just not clear enough. She likes JAGs which manages to squeeze on the same number of channels as the smallest typeface in mystuff but with a much more legible font. It would be great if mystuff could provide a similar text option although I appreciate that display hours will be reduced.

Cheers
Lee
