The [Ab] AccurateBM patch ought to replace the AccurateBM TAP. In order to get reliable functionality you will also need [He]. And, lastly, V2 and V3 of [Pf] need to be removed -- V1 is OK, but they are all kind of pointless if you use this patch instead of the TAP, since [Pf]'s purpose was to try to fix the other set of bugs for the other set of event handling.

This way of doing things is ultimately more robust and applicable to a much wider range of firmwares. (Yay!)

Sounds exciting. I'll be trying this later. I take it I need to remove the Extend TAP (and replace it with a new one at some point in the future...)

Glen.

I've just applied this dynamically (couldn't wait!) and stopped the TAP. Should be okay, eh?

It's an ever changing world we live in. Hopefully by the time we release the next version of MyStuff you will have replaced all the TAPs in my sig with patches Wink eit2mei next Razz. I'll try this tomorrow as I doubt I will get near the remote on Strictly night!

Hi,
I have added this patch & removed the AB tap.

Now running 5.13.65HPT2DePsReSUUuCbDFUcXpXwC0CyRRpRsIRhBfBqEcEsErScStPcSrGmCeBmWfNfEfSdHeHsAb

I haven't been following the threads here for a while so if anyone spots that my patcing is not optimised, please say.

Needles to say my patches are all from the latest patchpack & delelopment links.

Thanks R2D2

Hi Mike,

you need to add Ab and He and remove Pf. My sig has many of the new patches (but not all). If you want a copy of my firmware, just send me an email.

Is there likely to be an AccurateBMextend patch at some point?

EDIT: Just seen that there's an Extend TAP that looks like it's to be used alongside the Ab patch. So I guess ABextend is not needed/not going to be developed further?

Hi R2,

just to let you know the patch seems to be doing its stuff. Did a couple of test recs this morning and the bookmarks seem as good as the TAP.

Cheers for the hard work

Just tested this setup & the extend.Tap and all seems well with bookmark/recordings on toppy & in mystuff with no over runs on recordings as yet.

I will just have to wait for something to overrun to see if the setup catches it and continues to record.

Thank you again for your "most excellent" patches and Taps and all of your hard work Very Happy
