My first post, so be gentle with me.

I've just ordered a Topfield 5800, it should arrive on Friday.

I've also downloaded and installed the Topfield applications to my PC.

I notice that there are two updates on the Topfield site, one from May 11th, the other from June 15th. Assuming my box will have pre May 11 firmware on arrival, can I jump straight to the June 15th version, or should I install the May 11th first ?

Sorry, my mistake, the June 15th upgrade relates to the 5000, not 5800. I'll get some new glasses Embarassed

Yes, that?s correct, the June 15th firmware is for the TF5000PVRt only. It?s not compatible with our Toppy. No matter, your Toppy should come with the latest firmware already loaded (May 11th)

You had me excited for a minute there, I thought there was a fix for the 'no sound' bug.

I can assure you that it's being worked on; I don't have a timescale, but I do get the impression it's getting a high priority within Topfield.

Nigel.
