Hi, long time since I posted on here as I've since given my toppy away to my Dad who still uses three of them.
Long shot, but does anyone have the below .rec they could share with me for a massive Gordon Ramasy freind of our's, ITV Hub isn't an option
SE02 E01 (Mexico)
Am I digging deep correctly here & by renaming a .rec file to .ts get's you back to a more recognised format that more software will play natively?
Thank-you
Tony |

Don't have the recording
You can play a .rec directly on a windows pc using VLC (free to download/use). I seem to remember that it can also reqrite it as .ts
You should also be able to play .rec using Windows Player (but I can't remember if you have to load a codec to get it to work)
There is a program rectoTS.php mentioned on the site that will convert recordings but I've never used it (it requires php )

Have a look at 'youtube-dl', a command-line program to download from a variety of sources including ITV. It's a bit of a grey area, but it is ok to store programs on VCRs, PVRs and PCs for personal use for later viewing, and that is all this program does. The following works, and there are loads of options to get the quality you want
Code: youtube-dl https://www.itv.com/hub/gordon-gino-and-fred-road-trip/2a5838a0004 |

Our friend doesnt live in the UK, when I say Gordon Ramsay fan I mean mahoosive.
I've made the assumption that ITV Hub wouldnt be allowed outside of the UK |
