I may have found a bug when restoring a deleted program from the Recycle Bin.
When I restored it, the program disppeared from the Recycle Bin, as I expected. I also noticed that a deleted directory that it had been in also vanished from the Bin. My first thought was 'that was clever, I had forgotten about the directory!'.
When I looked in the archive, the directory had re-appeared, and it claimed to have one file in it. However, when I opened the directory there was nothing there! A look in the native archive confirmed the file was indeed there, so I stopped and restarted MyStuff and then it appeared in that as well.
There may be an easier way to do this, but although there is no hope of any bug being fixed, I thought I would record it here in case anyone else suffered the same problem.
Ooops! And yes, I am using the latest v6.6 - my sig is outdated. |

You could probably have avoided the reboot by pressing 0 on the remote
Option V1: Exclusive mode [On; Off; Extreme]
If you don’t use any other TAPs (such as Automove) or the standard Toppy Archive for
file/folder management (i.e. for creation/deletion/renaming/moving of recordings) then On
or Extreme will improve the speed of Archive loading. On will force a MyStuff Archive
reload when MyStuff detects the standard Archive has been accessed, whereas Extreme
does not detect this. If you use other TAPs then select Off. If you have Exclusive Mode on
and inadvertently use another source for file/folder management or you believe the Archive
to be showing an incorrect list of files then press 0 to refresh the MyStuff Archive

Yes, I was aware there was a simpler way - but I did not have time to look it up.
I have Option V1 set to Extreme, as I use nothing apart from MyStuff.
This is the first time it has not worked for me for years! |
