I posted in another topic that the SD transmissions will continue until at least 2022. Can't remember where I got the original info from, think it was an Ofcom document.

Thanks... hmm five more years, the Toppy should be getting a little grey by then..
Ok well, got Roku & Kodi, should be ok..

Understand Roku. How are you going to use Kodi?

This feels like an appropriate thread.... if it's not, then would Admin please move it? Smile

We're on the Oxford transmitter, with most transmissions in the 700 band, and we have been advised to retune on 27 February. I'm not very techie but I'll let you know what happens to our two Toppies - which are still working well, many thanks to Andyfras.

We have two Humaxes - one Foxsat and one HDR-1100S, both on satellite so unaffected - and Freeview EyeTV on the Mac.

It will continue to be only the three DVB-T2 MUXes that the Toppy cannot handle. The other five will still be shown assuming your aerial provides a strong enough signal.

There will be no point in retuning the Toppy on 27 Feb as the changes only affect the HD Muxes COM 7 & 8 which the Toppy cannot receive anyway.

However, there will be a major readjustment to the Oxford transmitter on 23 May which will mean a retune to the Toppy will be required.
