Having done a factory reset, my Topfield box is still not bringing up the new London Live (Channel Eight), nor POP (Channel Seventy-Five)?
I've also tried doing a "manual" channel search using those channel numbers, but no luck.
Is there anything else I should try?
Cheers

Can you receive the new channels on your TV ? - assuming it is freeview.
If not then you won't receive them on your toppy either.

Thanks for your reply, Geoff.
No, it seems I can't receive the new channels using my TV's built-in Freeview either.
Any idea why this may be?
Cheers

The new stations are on the Com 7 multiplex which in London is on Ch. 29. That's what you have to tune to manually. Not to be confused with the LCN (Local Channel Number) 8 or LCN 75. |

Doesn't that mean that it will be broadcast in DVB-T2/MPEG4, and hence require a Freeview HD tuner? |

I tuned it here on my 5810 but had to do a full scan as the various channel organiser apps have not been updated to add channel 29 yet so I would say it is definitely DVB-T/MPEG2. |

As far as I can gather, Crystal Palace COM7 allocation is on 33 and COM8 will be on 35 and they are DVB-T2. |

Ah yes. I have been getting confused with all the changes for the new local muxes and Com 7 and whether they were DVB T or T2. |
