As CW says press Ok to bring up the TV Services list.
Highlight BBC One and press red (Options).
Select Rename and press Ok.
Use the arrow keys to edit the name, pressing the red button to delete characters. Press blue to save when the name is BBC ONE.

Hope this helps.

Do we know all the regions? Got 'BBC ONE West' here on Mendip tx

Not sure what you mean here, but all regions in England had the change at midday. It was to reduce confusion for viewers that can pick up several regions.

Do we know all the regional names so they can all be added to the logo files. From what I have found via google so far there are...

BBC ONE West (Mendip)
BBC ONE NWest (Winter Hill)
BBC ONE Yorks (Emley Moor)
BBC ONE W Mid (Sutton Coldfield)
BBC ONE E Mid (Waltham)
BBC ONE Lon (Crystal Palace)
BBC ONE East W (Sandy Heath)

Believe there could be 15 of them in all.

Other changes...
ITV3+1 has moved from channel 63 to 34
The local tv channels are coming, Estuary TV is now on channel 8 (N Lincs/E Yorks only)

I passed comment on this earlier today: http://forum.toppy.org.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?p=260486#260486
Do you need more than one region on your Toppy? I think the logo is unchanged, so the renaming as discussed in the previous posts is surely the way to go?

Sorry, can't keep up with all the different places this sort of info gets posted.

As for the BBC One names, if the new names are not added to the logo packs then we will have to rename BBC One after every retune. Not a big issues for some but may be a problem for others.

I guess Mystuff searches (eg excludes) won't be too impressed with these channel changes????

edit: NB The name changes don't need a re-tune.

I have not retuned for quite some time, but the change was more than obvious as soon as it happened without any retune.

I had to retune my tv to see the changes - the toppy doesn't appear to be showing anything different.

edit: You're right, MyStuff epg looks ok, but the native channel list shows the changes.

Presumably there will be some shortening of names

From what I've found the regional names are 'BBC ONE' plus a regional name of up to 5 characters not including spaces. Can't find anywhere on the web that publishes the transmitted channel names. So it may be down to people posting the names that they see on their toppy.

ccs like albertd my toppy picked up the name change without a re-tune.

You can guess where 'BBC ONE SEast' is! (What a horrible mixture of cases!)

I wonder what other implications of this change will surface...
