Hi all,
Sorry if this has been answered before, can't seem to find the answer.
We have a Topfield TRF7160, less than 6 months old and storage nearly full (30GB free).
Yesterday it started freezing during playback with the message 'Service not running or scrambled'.
A couple of days ago the picture seemed to go grey/fuzzy every now and then (but it seems to have gone, and now this...).
watching normal (not playback) all fine, issue solely with playback.
It seems to be ok now, but happens every now and then.
I would rather take it back now if it will happen again in near future (before it's out of warranty).
Anyone else have this issue? Is it an easy fix or could this be a major issue?
Is it something to do with it almost being full?
Thanks, |

Hey ingrex,
There won't be many other TRF7160 users on this forum, unfortunately, since I don't think this model is sold outside of Australia. (You're in Australia, right?). As much as I hate to suggest it, you might like to try posting on the itopfield.com.au forums.
For what it's worth, I have owned a TRF7160 for a couple of months, but I haven't noticed that problem.
There shouldn't be any problem with having only 30GB free. Perhaps there was just a bad signal while you recorded those particular programs. Do the glitches occur in the same place every time you play the effected programs?
