I've been recording this series from the Channel 4 repeats and watching them later.

Unfortunately, the Channel 4 schedulers have decided to mess about and change the times every week since about episode 6.

Last week, I forgot to check and change my timer, so I have missed all but the last few minutes of episode 9 Sad

The first broadcast was on 31 March on More 4 at 11pm, and the repeat was on 7 April on Channel 4 at 11;40pm

Does anybody have a recording which they could let me have?

Regards,

David.

Can't help you with the recording but sounds like you ought to investigate MyStuff (or, if you must, UK AutoScheduler). This would eliminate the hassle of adjusting times when things get moved. Also, MyStuff will make the toppy into what TopFirled should have provided!

Seconded: you really need a MyStuff set-and-forget search, rather than messing about manually setting timers for everything Wink. Life's too short for that.

I found a torrent and downloaded the missing episode. I haven't actually seen the entire series yet ...

However, I do find it very disappointing that the only response I got was from people telling me off for not using an optional TAP.

Perhaps my mistake was to have made a gripe about schedulers, which I believe is actually still valid.

Now then, if I see a post in this forum asking for a copy of a missing programme, I will always offer to send a copy if somebody else hasn't done so already.

OTOH, I don't see as many requests these days. Perhaps more people are using MyStuff and miss less - or perhaps they're just too embarrassed to admit that they aren't Sad

Anyroadup, if anyone has missed a programme that I have recorded, I promise to help out if I can, regardless of the reason why they missed it.

That's my policy, and I'm sticking to it.

I think people may be just trying to help you avoid the problem in the future. And maybe no one actually has a copy of the programme. It's a possibility.

More likely they are able to make use of the online catch-up services like BBC iPlayer which all the major broadcasters now provide.
