Sorry for delay, but have been struggling unsuccessfully to find a way of avoiding a reboot at the end of the BlankChannel TAP activities.

I have, however, done a major re-write to include a log file (placed in /PF/Logs) which might help if there are still problems. The new version is here. I have done as much as I can think of to test 5810 apects on a 5800, so if this doesn't work and the log file doesn't show anything odd I'm afraid there will be nothing much more I can do.

When I can find a suitable time I will give it a test and report back, thanks for the hard work.

Please Mr EMJB, is there any chance of getting the source to this version yet?

Thanks.

I am very loathe to release the code because:

(1) It is a mess with very limited annotation of the critical bits of code.

(2) It includes bits of redundant experimental etc code which you may well want to use, but which may not work, and even do nasty things to your Toppy.

Playing around with the channel data ought to be quite simple (see here), but the problem comes in persuading the firmware to accept the changes.

I did start work on a channel data editor to allow you to change/add channel name/LCN/PIDs etc, but had problems and am unlikely to be able to do much work on this (or to tidy up the BlankChannel code) for a few months due to other commitments.
