I wonder if Topfield are going to produce an HDPVR in the near future ? the link shown above is for the Humax to be released in July. It's the Humax HDR-Fox T2.

Two times three minus one equals five and three times nine equals 27?

Can't get any further.

But who knows about the pvr? And given their recent track record, who would be first to try it?

See Nigel's post about the Icecrypt model http://forum.toppy.org.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=17060

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction, I wasn't aware of this model. Regarding Humax I was only aware of theirs today, not to say I would buy one Wink

The big sticking point for me would be the ability or not to transfer files to a PC for editing and watching via my media player. Looks as though this may be a problem for HD systems though, so I may just stick with watching the occasional HD programme (World Cup perhaps) via my Freesat equipped TV, and recording in SD via 5800.

HD PVRs will probably all be crippled by DRM as far as tranferring files to PC for viewing on other media. Sad

For a quick overview of what's going to be available see here.

Ooh look! (scroll right in the comparison box).

Does PVR Junction know something about a twin tuner Topfield HD PVR that we don't?
