My Panasonic IDTV announced yesterday that it had found new channels (on Crystal Palace). When I came to look for anything new after the re-tune, I found an engineering test channel on 501. Some very nice shots of landscape and coastline from a helicopter. My Toppy wouldn't find it though, although I did notice after the dust had settled and I'd re-booted it that one of the 300 series channels was showing a duplicate of BBC R3, which was also to be found in the right place.

TF5800, Latest full install of My Stuff 6.3 and associated TAPS, Power Manager v2.1; 3View, Humax HDR FOX T2

Depending on when you scanned, the channel may not have been in the same mode as when you found it on the Panasonic.

501 is the HD test channel, and presently seems to be swapping modes between DVB-T (which the Toppy can understand) and DVB-T2 (which nothing presently on the market can).

Even if the parameters were such that the Toppy could tune it automatically (and from the HD trial, I think it had to be stored manually), it would still not be viewable.
