Maybe it's fixed in the latest version - 1.26:
http://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload.php?action=file&file_id=1947
The 7555 is uncommon outside Europe and a lot of JP1/JP1.2 stuff is done in the US but as people report problems (on the JP1 forum) things gradually get fixed. I tried the above maps and it seemed to work fine. If you look in the Software Section on the JP1 forum there's usually a sticky pointing to updated versions of the software as and when they are created.

I have just bought a URC7555 from www.sparky-uk.com for 12.99 post-free.

I have programmed it as in the wiki - http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Topfield_5800/Universal_remotes/One_For_All_URC-7555 - apart from some minor changes:

Subtitle : 00357 - PIP (See AV below)
Magic Subtitle : 00486 - PIP Swap
Next Track : 00615 - Text (similar to original position)
Prev Track : 00553 - Slow (ditto)
? : 00436 - List (not 00506 as shown; that is the same as the OK button)
AV : 00565 - TV/Sat (seemed more logical)

Me too! I've actually played around with JP1 in the past and still have a JP1 cable.
Wondering if this might work with the 7555 and what the difference is in JP1.2, I took a look at that link.
Phew! after an hour I gave up. Theres also a thread "Newbie guide.." which isn't...
In the end I got my answer from www.diygadget.com

A picture is often easier to interpret. I think the codes on this image are correct (for the 7555 and a whole host of other OFA remotes):

http://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload.php?action=download&file_id=4154

The ones in white are said to work with SAT/1206 (I haven't checked since I used my home-made JP1.2 cable instead of the built-in codes).

Be VARY careful with these.

As the description for one of them says 'CORRUPT HARD DISK'. If you send that code you will loose the contents of your disk. Do not assume the others are safe. AFAIK their exact purpose has never been discovered.

There are more than that as well and they are documents somewhere, probably both here and the Aus site.

You can reverse the consequences of the 'corrupt hard disk' command using TopfHDRW, but you do need to be able to connect the disk to a PC to do so.

One of the hidden codes is genuinely useful, go back to start of timeshift buffer. Unfortunately, you don't seem to have a code for it yet!

I trying to set up this remote, and thanks to the function codes posted here for the Toppy and Panasonic I've got most things working..

However, I still cant get certain keys working for my Echostar satellite receiver and xbox.. Who can give you the function keys? Is it OFA? or the manufacturer of the remote (Echostar and Microsoft)?

Perhaps somebody already have the function keys for the xbox?

Fill in the on-line query form on the OFA website.
Give them as much info about the target device inc model number and what device code works. Ask specifically for function codes for the device.
They got back to me within a couple of days with all the codes they knew for my tuner/amp.
It seems you have to fill a separate query for each device.

For the XBox, try the following setup codes and choose which gives you the most correct buttons:

0522
0822
0880

Then see if these codes work for the buttons that don't work:

Code:
Display  00099
Reverse  00170
Play     00106
Forward  00178
Skip -   00035
Stop     00186
Pause    00202
Skip +   00019
Title    00226
Info     00179
Menu     00082
Back     00251
Up       00200
Down     00208
Left     00128
Right    00120
Select   00109
0        00147
1        00139
2        00163
3        00155
4        00115
5        00107
6        00131
7        00123
8        00211
9        00203

From the URC7555 manual:

1 Press the device key (TV, VCR, SAT, DVD and AMP).
2 Press and hold the MAGIC key until the blinking is done
3 Press 9 9 4. The device key will blink twice.
4 Press the MAGIC key once.
5 Enter the 5-digit function code (provided by underquark).
6 Press the key to which the function will be assigned. The device key
will blink twice.

For those wishing to set up their URC7555s etc.,

Look in your remote's manual and once you find a setup code for your device that has a partial match (i.e. some of the buttons work but not all) then look it up in this spreadsheet and note the protocol and device numbers etc.

Then look here for links to latest RemoteMaster and Keymap-Master programs which will allow you to read (and manipulate, create etc.) these sorts of files that people have already created for hundreds, if not thousands, of devices. Your particular, exact, model might no be listed but there may be a close match.

Ignore the Setup Code number in these files (the number was arbitrarily selected by the creater and may be the original with a '1' added at the beginning or may not). Check, however, that the protocol, device number etc. match your device.

The codes you want for individual buttons are in the EFC column and should be entered as five-digit numbers, some of which are derived by adding '00' to the beginning but some of which are more complex on account of the IR protocol for that device (such as some Panasonic TVs) using two-byte instead of one-byte codes.

In the absence of a setup code at all for your device then trawl trough the JP1 File Section and see if a similar device can be found. Some manufacturers are pretty consistent (Panasonic, Philips, Sony) but others aren't and re-badged products and cheap DVD players don't always give you many clues to go on.

Vroomfondle's post implies there is a web query form that you can fill in to get specific codes for functions on your DVD for example. Thet's what I'm looking for.

There definitely was a web based email request form but I can't find it now.
I had 4 good quick replies from it about different devices.
The answers came from websupport@uebv.com

Much easier than Underquark process which had my eyes glazing over at the mention of a spreadsheet. Confused

Edit: the email support request tab is still there, its just hard to spot
goto http://www.oneforall-int.com/?pag=50
under Universal Remote Controls
click What is the right code for my device?
Then theres an email tab at the bottom of the short page.

goes here in my case
[url]http://uebv.helptu.nl/(pkhmda55d1zvzrzrhyawpw45)/p_ca_ano.aspx?NodeID=338[/url]
