| I did a rescan yesterday (Sun 14 OCt) to get all the new channel numbers right after C4 + 1 came out, that was OK , but now Film4 has disappeared, I'm sure I saw a thread about this a few weeks ago but can't find it now. I too have "Dave" at 12, and I've lost UKTV History. I'll do another rescan tomorrow, but if anyone can enlighten me as to which channel it should be on I'd be grateful |

Do a factory reset before doing a rescan. Unfortunately, rescanning alone does not remove old channels just finds new ones and confuses the whole thing.

HTH,
I did!
I was upgrading my TAPs (EPGNav, Quickjump & Desc Ext), so I removed the old ones, did a factory reset and then rescanned and then put back the latest versions of the 3 TAPs.
Because I pick up signals from 2 transmitters I specify the "channel" number with a manual scan.
OOPS! I've just realised what I've done - or not done! I didn't scan for Mux D! Doooh!
Thanks for the reply anyway! |
