I have MeiSearch in my AutoStart folder and it all works well. However, after doing a search and exiting, the available memory is severely reduced even though the 'Release EPG Memory when inactive' option is set to 'Yes'.

Before starting MeiSearch, MyInfo reports:
Memory - Free: 9 MB, Available: 7 MB

After doing a search and exiting, MyInfo reports:
Memory - Free: 8 MB, Available: 3 MB

This means that I need to reboot my Toppy after using MeiSearch or I get messages about there not being enough memory to load mei data popping up.

The change I gesture towards in the link below MAY sort out this problem:

Thanks for your suggestion, but:

In fact it does not matter what that option is set to, the memory available after doing a search and exiting is always the same.

Perhaps removing unwanted channels (Shopping chans, +1 chans etc.) will reduce the required memory.

I actually like the +1 channels, I find them useful for resolving timer conflicts.

However, the issue I see is not the amount of memory MeiSearch uses, but the fact it does not release it on exiting.
