Depends where you bought it - they might not say no.

If you bought it online then you have a few days to reject it (can't remember how many)

That's no big surprise, but there are other alternatives available. But what you can do is to take it back and get something you can live with.

We all know that there's nothing that can hold a candle to a Toppy with MyStuff, but the Humax UI is particularly awful. Even a YouView box is better (although that drove me nuts too).

I wouldn't have thought you would get a problem with John Lewis - they pride themselves on customer care.

Can't agree with that at all. Had two Youview boxes (DTR2100) for a year now and they are both fantastic. Highly recommeded. I still have a single Toppy in my basement as a 'legacy' unit, basically, as it's full of old music docs.

But, if looking for something else, get onto ebay and pick up a BT issue Youview box for around 70 quid, and then you're laughing!

I did say it was better. But it DID drive ME nuts (until it died). YMMV. The bottom line is that you have to try these things to find what works FOR YOU.
