Some of you will have noticed that this year the Olympic games will be held in London (don't panic there's still 70 days to go). Accordingly your normal tv viewing pattern will be subject to disruption, but to upset as few people as possible it has been found possible to leave the soaps alone and co-opt viewing time from channels where people are least likely to complain. This means CBBC will close for two weeks and resurface on LCN73. BBC Parliament will be off-air (and will be sadly missed Laughing ). To remove the risk of problems with Freeview reception during the games, no set-top box updates will be provided. Some changes will not affect the Toppy, such as HD-related. Further reading can be found here.
